Handmade 150mm/6" honesuki blade of AEB-L stainless culinary steel. This kitchen utility blade is handled in Osage Orange, taken from fallen limbs of a tree that is said to have been brought back as seed from the Lewis and Clark expedition, with local Charlottesville specimens matching in size and age at Monticello and the Meriwether Lewis birthplace! The Osage has a bright orange-yellow hue that will darken after years of use. The pins are of 1/4" stainless steel. The overall length is 11". 61 HRC. 4.2 oz.
