Handmade 9" chef's knife of stainless damascus folded by Damasteel of Sweden. This heavy chef is handled in Rosewood reclaimed from the Martin Guitar Factory. The faceted handle has a bolster and butt of Mokume-gane which gives it plenty of heft while remaining perfectly balanced. A custom saya of Wenge is secured with a hand milled nickel silver pin. The overall length is 14.5". HRC 62. 13.2 oz.
Handmade kitchen knife set consisting of a 6" cleaver, 8.5" chef's knife, 7.5" santoku, 9" bread knife, 9" slicer and 3.5" paring knife. These blades are made of stainless damascus folded by Damasteel in their Vinland pattern. The contoured handles are of Osage Orange fabled to be a tree planted from seed that was brought back to Charlottesville, VA with the Lewis & Clark Expedition. The pins and bolsters are of nickel silver.
Handmade 140mm/5.5" honesuki of san mai steel (52100 carbon edge wrapped in stainless steel). This lightweight knife has a large hand handle of reclaimed Teak with a ferule of olive green micarta and a spacer of white G10. The overall length is 293mm/11.5". HRC 60-62. 3.5 oz.
Handmade 8.5" chef of AEB-L stainless culinary steel. The handle is of highly figured Black Locust root sourced from Zack's farm in Charlottesville, VA. The root is a bright yellow orange color and has excellent swirling grain. The overall length is 13.5". Stainless pins. 7.4 oz. HRC 61.
