Handmade 7.25" chef's knife of fully forged AEB-L stainless steel with forge markings left intact. This blade is handled in black resinwood with white liners and spacers of G10. It has nickel silver bolster and pins. It measures 12" overall. Spine is 0.2mm at bolster and 0.04 at the tip. 7.4 oz. HRC 62. Sheath can be added for $45.
Handmade 165mm/6.5" honesuki of AEB-L stainless steel. This daily use knife has a killer handle! Using White G-10, brass, and nuclear green Topo resin, we made in-house to create a faceted handle. The overall length is 292mm / 11.5". 5.6 oz. HRC 62.
Handmade 10" chopper of CPM154 stainless steel featuring a ktip with a chisel grind. One side of the blade is etched with original artwork by David Ellis. The other side of the blade is signed by the artist in addition to our makers mark. The handle is of coconut husk with liners of green, yellow and white alongside a black resinwood stripe. The overall length is almost 16". The handmade sheath is custom fitted and designed by our friend, Aaron Baker at Trouble&Trace. 14 oz. HRC 62.
This project was a collaboration between Zack and artist, David Ellis for a friend of Ellis', the famous local juicer called Coconut Rob. What a fun project! Can't wait to see those coconuts succumb to this beast.
Handmade 240mm/9.5" gyuto of stainless damascus folded by Damasteel in the Twist Pattern. This killer blade is handled in our locally sourced Walnut from Zack's farm in Charlottesville and fitted with a black G10 spacer and mokume ferule. The overall length is 381mm/15". 7.5 oz. HRC 62. The saya is also handmade in our shop of Birdseye Maple and Walnut with a pin of multicolored wood laminate.
