This knife is handled in storied wood supplied by the client, a Black Locust crotch from the family home place in Pennsylvania. The space on the handle is figured Walnut from Zack's farm in Albemarle County, Virginia. Detailing in brass. The overall length is just under 12". 6.2 oz.
Handmade 140mm/5.5" honesuki of san mai steel (52100 carbon edge wrapped in stainless steel). This lightweight knife has a large hand handle of reclaimed Teak with a ferule of olive green micarta and a spacer of white G10. The overall length is 293mm/11.5". HRC 60-62. 3.5 oz.
