This 6" (150mm) Honesuke is handmade from stainless AEB-L steel from Sweden. The blade offers versatility and performance for a wide range of kitchen tasks.

The tapered octagonal handle is made from ancient bog Oak which is around 5,000 years old, harvested from trees which fell into peat bogs of Eastern Europe long ago. It’s fitted with solid stainless hardware and bolsters for strength and balance.

About the Fusion Design

The Fusion Design knife profile was developed by Monolith in 2020 and debuted at the Damasteel Chef Invitational in Fall 2021. The term “Fusion” reflects our aim to blend the best of Eastern and Western knife traditions into one thoughtful design.

Japanese knives are known for their precision: thin blades, long flat edges, low tips, and lightweight octagonal handles. Western knives—especially those in the Sabatier tradition—are prized for their durability, comfort, and long-term use. Our Fusion Design brings these two philosophies together in a blade that balances performance with longevity.

Each knife in the Fusion Series reflects this balance through its profile, steel, and handle design. It’s our answer to what a modern kitchen knife be.

Like all Monolith Knives, Fusion blades are warrantied for life.
All our blades are backed by a lifetime warranty. Any defects in materials or craftsmanship will be repaired or replaced free of charge, including return shipping. Damage from use will be evaluated case-by-case.
